FP-N Ring

The nutter ring is a high performance packing designed by Dale Nutter in the 1980’s . The typical geometry of the FP-N ring ensured maximum randomness with minimum nesting. These packings provide for excellent efficiency on account of lateral liquid spreading and surface film renewal.

Key Characteristics

  • FP-N ring is the industry recognised nutter ring equivalent
  • It provides for excellent surface utilisation, which facilitates shorter packed beds
  • High mechanical strength

FP-N Ring Applications

  • Acid gas removal
  • Gas sweetening
  • Demethanizers
  • Atmospheric and high-pressure distillation
